MidCareer Account and Data Deletion Policy

MidCareer allows registered users to request permanent deletion of their accounts and associated personal information.

Account deletion is different from temporarily deactivating an account.

From the MidCareer App:

1. Sign in to your MidCareer account.
2. Open Profile or Account Settings.
3. Select Privacy and Account.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Review the consequences and confirm your request.
6. Complete identity verification where necessary.

From the Website:

Visit our account deletion request page and follow the displayed deletion process. You do not need to sign in to submit a request.

Users who cannot access their accounts may contact MidCareer Privacy Support for assistance.

Following verification and processing of the request:

• Your account access will be terminated.
• Your active professional profile will be removed.
• Your résumé, portfolio and personal career information will be deleted or de-identified, subject to lawful retention.
• Your CIN will be deactivated and will no longer provide access to an active career profile.
• Future job-matching and career notifications will stop.
• Information held by our processors will be deleted in accordance with applicable instructions and retention requirements.

Applications or records already lawfully received by an employer may remain in that employer's independent recruitment records.

Such employers must process the information under their own applicable privacy obligations.

MidCareer will not represent that deleting a platform account automatically erases all independent employer records.

Certain records may be retained where justified by law, fraud prevention, security, contractual obligations or dispute resolution.

Examples may include legally required financial records, limited security audit logs and information necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

Retained data will not remain available as an active candidate profile.

Deletion requests will be processed without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines.

If additional time is required, the user will be informed where appropriate.

The operator will confirm completion of the request.
